In the October 2016 issue of NZ Performance Car (Issue No. 238) we take a detailed look at the Abbott Brothers Racing 13B-powered FD RX-7. The car is not new to New Zealand drag strips, having been raced for several seasons now, with the team slowly chipping away at their PB to the current record-holding 6.96 @ 313kph (195mph).
This makes them the only 13B car in Australasia to dip into the sixes, despite a handful of cars in Australia who have been chasing after that record for a few seasons.
