Chrome Nights 2

Rain? Who cares? Kiwis love their cars and they'll show up no matter the weather. Umbrellas were scattered around the Auckland Showgrounds, but that didn’t stop the excitement and underglow from lighting up the night.

In what felt like a slice of Japan’s famous Daikoku Futo, Chrome Nights 2 has stepped in to fill the gap for organised night hardparks that bring the scene together for our shared passion. Sure, there are plenty of other after-hours events here and there, but they all usually lead to a bit of illicit ‘activities’, giving the rest of us a bad name.
