Keeping keen, by treating her mean

17 November 2016

If you have been to a burnout comp in the upper North Island in the past 10 years, then chances are you may have seen Stephen Dean and his 13B-powered ‘GASGAS’ Mk2 Cortina. Powered by a 13B Bridgeport that Steve built nine years ago, it’s fair to say that it’s had a solid beating, and taken every last minute of it.

But after nine years, countless burnouts, and ridiculous amounts of nitrous, Steve wanted to try something new. Always up for the challenge, in only two months the 13B was removed, and in its place now sits a 20B PP with TTi six-speed. Get the full rundown on the build in NZ Performance Car Issue No. 241, in stores from Monday, November 20, or order a copy below now!
