RADBUL lays down some numbers

19 February 2015

No it isn’t finished yet, but RADBUL is near completion and has finally laid down some solid numbers on PPRE’s own dyno after ‘Mad Mike’ Whiddett started the twin-turbo quad-rotor MX-5 for the first time. PPRE’s engineers have been going flat out in recent weeks, finalizing the chassis, driveline, suspension, brake, and steering modifications before the initial shakedown.

Check out the fifth instalment of ‘The Making of RADBUL’ to see the team try lay down a solid power run and turn the rolling road into smoke, before they switched to a grippier set of tyres and lay down a 769kW (1032hp) at the wheels run on a low-boost setting.

Let us know how much power you think RADBUL will make on high boost in the comments below.
