We had your Nationals weekend sorted

23 January 2015

What an exciting set-up day at the V 4&Rotary Nationals. We decided to throw together a list of must see attractions to get you down to the ASB Showgrounds on January 24 to check out this wild show.

The first reason you should make the journey to the Nationals, is to check out our totally badass NZ Performance Car stand. Graeme Smyth lent us his SR-powered S15 from Issue No. 218, now-rocking full C’s Garage livery for you to check out. Mark Strawbridge’s ex police car now sporting its full ’70s inspired race set-up, so make sure to check that out too. Not only does our stand look grouse, it’s packed full of freebies and mad discounts on subscriptions. Oh, and if you’re down for a bit of a laugh, we are having a High Octane DVD marathon.

Another reason you should get out of bed and down to the show is Mad Mike’s wild Chevy C30 BRODZR. This thing has undergone serious rework over the last couple of weeks  — trust us you have never seen anything like this before.

If you’re a Japanese ’90s coupe fan, then Damian Smuts has something in store for you. His 180SX has been in the build for a long time now and the results show. The SR20DET now in-between the strut towers has been tickled up and sports a large Garrett GT2876R dual ball-bearing turbo.

Immaculate engine bays are plentiful here at the V 4&Rotary Nationals. This Mazda Familia GTX had some serious work under the bonnet, but this is only the beginning of what you’re in for here at the show,

The last reason you should come check out the show is the insane lengths some people have gone to with their stands. This stand had a running river complete with goldfish! So there it is, a few good reasons you should make the trip to the show, come say hi, and grab yourself a sweet deal on a subscription!

And don’t forget all of the cars to be unveiled. We’ve had a look up their skirts and there are some wild creations! See ya’ll on Saturday, January 24 at ASB Showgrounds. Gates are open at 9am!
