Since 2006, Rocket Speed Equipment has held an annual open day that’s proved to be incredibly popular with hot rod and custom car gearheads throughout New Zealand. They travel from far and wide and congregate at the Hamilton workshop to see the latest projects and parts on the go at Rocket.
The annual event is back for another year and will be held on Saturday, December 13. Proprietor Dan Tyler says it’s a good opportunity to thank customers and get friends together for an end-of-year Christmas function. From traditional hot rods, cool customs, radical race cars, and sensational street machines, the talented team at Rocket have done it all with no signs of slowing down yet.
The workshop is located at 3 Grasslands Place, Hamilton and from 1pm on Saturday, December 13 the road is closed for the revolving car show, with people visiting throughout the afternoon. It’s a laid back fun day which is not to be missed.
