Here at NZ Performance Car magazine, we’re always searching for that perfect cover shot. We need that one shot to pop out on the shelves and ensure us the readers can find us easily! Shooting Joel’s AE86 was definitely a great experience for the team and in the process we managed to make one of our favourite covers to date. Here are a few behind-the-scenes shots from that day, and a video at the bottom.
With head photographer Adam Croy on the case, we worked with portable lighting rigs and a bunch of ideas to make the front cover come to life.
