With spy footage (which you’ll find just below) being released over the past month of Ken Block driving a new custom Mustang on the streets no one was really sure what the hell he was actually driving.
That question was answered at SEMA, held over November 4–7, with the release of his new ‘Hoonicorn’ 4WD V8-powered 1965 Ford Mustang notchback. Unsurprisingly the car has undergone some crazy modifications to get it to the standard it sits at today.
Secretly built by the team at Autosport Dynamics, the 4WD Mustang sits on a custom chassis and boasts a 410ci Roush Yates-built Ford small block V8 with Roush Yates D3 cylinder heads paired with a custom six-speed Sadev sequential and transfer case.
The car then runs a set of custom two-piece fifteen52 Tarmac R40 wheels with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres, specially designed by Ken Block for gymkhana.
